US was chose war and the world is facing consequences, says Iran
Summary
Iran has accused the United States of deliberately opting for conflict, warning that the repercussions are being felt worldwide and urging Washington to demonstrate sincere intent toward diplomacy.
TEHRAN (Daily Job News PK) – Iran has reiterated that the United States is consciously pursuing a path of confrontation, cautioning that the fallout from such decisions is now affecting the global landscape.
The statement comes amid escalating geopolitical tensions and continued diplomatic strain between Tehran and Washington. Iranian officials have maintained that US actions are a key driver of regional instability, while emphasising that Iran’s priority is to bring hostilities to an end.
In remarks issued from Tehran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the current conflict stems from a deliberate choice by the United States. He asserted that the international community will ultimately hold Washington accountable, adding that Iran remains committed to ending the conflict rather than prolonging it.
Baghaei stressed that the consequences of the situation extend far beyond the region, noting that global impacts are already evident. He said the international community is likely to assess responsibility, particularly in relation to US policy decisions that, in his view, have contributed to escalation.
Reaffirming Iran’s stance, he said Tehran is focused on de-escalation and breaking the cycle of conflict, contrasting this with what he described as unilateral military actions by the United States.

Commenting on diplomatic efforts, Baghaei noted that Iran continues engagement with the United States despite deep mistrust. He referenced past incidents, including what he described as unprovoked US actions in June last year and on February 28, saying these events continue to shape Tehran’s concerns.
He added that such developments influence Iran’s current diplomatic approach, with negotiations being handled cautiously due to limited confidence built on past experiences.
According to Baghaei, Iran will remain vigilant in all diplomatic interactions and will avoid engaging in negotiations it considers overly complex or unproductive.
He emphasised that Tehran will not participate in discussions lacking meaningful outcomes, stating that previous experiences have led to a more guarded stance. He also noted that Iran expects clarity and seriousness from Washington if progress is to be achieved.
Baghaei concluded that if the United States is genuinely committed to diplomacy, it must demonstrate goodwill and act decisively to take advantage of any opportunity for progress.
